The Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas in Phang Nga Bay, southern Thailand, has a new program called "Sail, Stay, and Stargaze on My SKY." The plan calls for two nights at the resort on Koh Yao Yai island and one night on a 55-foot yacht. It is meant to combine staying on land with a guided trip on the water, giving travelers a planned way to see nearby islands and coastal areas.

According to official information, the My SKY yacht operates with a small crew and onboard chef, offering basic leisure facilities during the trip. The itinerary includes stops at Chicken Island, Railay Bay, and Hong Island, among other places in the Andaman Islands. Activities include snorkeling, swimming, and visiting shallow lagoons before returning to the resort’s pier. The route focuses on short-distance navigation and limited passenger numbers.

People who follow this itinerary will get to see some of the most unique natural landmarks in the Andaman Islands. Chicken Island, known for its sandbar that appears at low tide, offers a chance to walk between small islets surrounded by turquoise water. You can only get to Railay Bay by boat. It is known for its high limestone cliffs and secret beaches that are great for swimming or climbing. Every destination reveals a unique aspect of Thailand’s shoreline and underwater world.

The itinerary also includes Hong Island, where people can swim in a lagoon with emerald-green water that is protected from the wind and climb to a high point with a view of Phang Nga Bay. Monkey Island is another stop where visitors can see macaques that live along the shore. The yacht has snorkeling and kayaking gear, so guests can explore coral reefs and quiet coves that bigger tour groups often miss.

The initiative reflects a shift in Thailand's tourism sector toward curated, small-group travel experiences. For travelers, it offers an eco-conscious way to reach protected marine zones while respecting environmental sustainability. The program allows visitors to access remote destinations without the need for separate transfers or private charters. This shows that well-planned travel experiences can help more visitors enjoy the Andaman Sea’s stunning nature in a careful and responsible way.
