Loganair has launched its first-ever service to France with a new direct seasonal route between Jersey and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The first flight departed on Sunday, 31 May, adding a major European airport to the airline’s Channel Islands network. The route is aimed at improving travel options for Jersey residents and bringing more visitors to the island this summer.

The new Jersey–Paris service runs three times a week, with flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Paris Charles de Gaulle offers onward connections to more than 390 destinations worldwide, making the route useful for city breaks, long-haul journeys and multi-stop trips. Fares start at £89, with a 21kg checked baggage allowance included as standard.

The launch is part of a wider Loganair expansion in Jersey for summer 2026. The airline has already started services to Norwich and East Midlands, while flights to Bordeaux are due to begin on 19 June. Paris Charles de Gaulle is the third of four new summer destinations added to the Jersey schedule over recent weeks.

The route gives islanders a simpler way to reach Paris for museums, food, shopping and onward rail or air connections. It also opens easier access to northern France, Disneyland Paris and long-haul flights through Charles de Gaulle. In the other direction, it gives French visitors a direct path to Jersey’s beaches, coastal walks, castles and food scene.

For Jersey, the Paris route removes one of the usual extra steps: changing at a UK airport before reaching mainland Europe. That matters for short breaks, family visits and longer trips with luggage. It also gives Loganair a new chapter in France after years of focusing mainly on UK and regional routes.
