Starting on 15 May 2025, flydubai plans to run flights every day between Dubai’s Terminal 2 and the airport in Peshawar. The new route adds to the carrier’s existing presence in Pakistan, which already includes services to Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot. These flights are planned to run throughout the year and mark another step in strengthening air links between the UAE and major cities in Pakistan.

Each outbound flight will leave Dubai in the evening and land in Peshawar shortly after midnight. The flight back to Dubai takes off very early in the morning and lands before sunrise, making it possible for travellers to connect to other destinations the same day. Fares start at AED 1300 for Economy Lite and AED 5270 for Business Class. The schedule suits both leisure and essential travel.

Tucked into the northwest of Pakistan, Peshawar is one of those cities where history seems to breathe through the streets, with centuries-old spots like Bala Hisar Fort, Mahabat Khan Mosque and the buzzing Qissa Khwani Bazaar telling stories at every turn. Things between India and Pakistan have gotten tense lately, and that’s made it harder for people to plan trips with any real confidence. It’s a good idea for travellers to keep tabs on official news and stay alert, since flying rules or local safety conditions might shift with little to no notice.

Dubai feels like a giant airport crossroads, where planes take off in every direction and travellers from all over pass through on their way somewhere else. While the new service brings greater convenience for those with family or business ties in Pakistan, passengers are strongly advised to monitor news from trusted sources, keep documents and travel plans in order and be prepared for possible disruptions due to the current political climate.

Seeing more direct flights pop back up is one of the clearest signs that international travel is slowly getting back on its feet. For a lot of people with family, work or roots stretching between Pakistan and the UAE, this flight path means much more than just an easy trip. It helps people stay close across borders, making it simpler to visit, move around, and keep important ties alive between places that are already deeply linked.
