Jet2 Opens the Door to Summer 2027 Travel Plans
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are now taking reservations for the summer of 2027. This is the earliest launch in the company's history. Flights and holiday packages are now available from 13 UK airports to 59 sunshine and city destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean. With over 19 million seats and 470 routes, this move gives travellers and travel agents a head start in securing preferred hotels, destinations, and dates before demand increases.
This expanded programme introduces six new routes: Birmingham to Bergerac, Edinburgh to Skiathos, Manchester to Bergerac and Jersey, as well as two new options from London Stansted to Costa de Almeria and La Palma. The launch includes more than 1,700 weekly flights during the busiest months and allows customers to book holidays with a low £60 deposit and interest-free monthly payments.
Among the new destinations, Bergerac stands out for its quiet charm in France’s Dordogne region, surrounded by vineyards and medieval towns. The Edinburgh to Skiathos route gives Scottish travellers direct access to one of Greece’s most scenic islands, known for pine-fringed beaches and a relaxed summer atmosphere. Manchester’s new connection to Jersey will also appeal to those looking for short island breaks closer to home.
London Stansted’s additions, Costa de Almeria and La Palma, expand access to southern Spain’s hidden coastline and the greenest of the Canary Islands. Costa de Almeria is a good place for people who want to experience real Spanish culture away from the big resorts. La Palma, on the other hand, has volcanic landscapes, hiking trails, and places to stargaze that you won't find on other islands. Jet2’s dedication to providing a variety of travel options for families and individual travelers is clearly reflected in these new routes.
This announcement reflects a broader change in travel trends, as more people begin planning their holidays years in advance. Early scheduling by major airlines indicates rising confidence in long-term travel demand and growing interest in new, lesser-known destinations. For many holidaymakers, it also highlights how competition between carriers is shaping a market that values flexibility, early access, and diverse travel options.
