Jet2.com Expands UK Winter Flights to Key Alpine Destinations for 2026/27 Season
Jet2.com has unveiled a major expansion of its ski flight programme for Winter 2026/27, with added routes and increased capacity to key Alpine destinations. Passengers can fly nonstop to eight key European cities from ten UK airports, among them Manchester, Birmingham, and London Stansted. More departures to major cities such as Geneva, Salzburg, and Turin are part of the new schedule set to roll out in mid-December.
Over 180,000 seats are now available across 35 routes, as the airline modestly expands its capacity. The expanded schedule spans four alpine countries: France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, and introduces a wider range of travel options for winter passengers. Key elements of the 2026/27 programme include:
- 35 direct ski routes departing from ten UK airports
- More than 180,000 seats available across the winter season
- A three percent capacity increase compared to the previous year
- Flights beginning in mid-December 2026
- Stronger coverage during high-demand periods such as February half-term
We enjoyed another successful ski season last winter, and with skiers and snowboarders already looking ahead to Winter 26/27, we have responded by launching our ski programme for next winter. With an expanded programme available and more perfectly timed flights at the most popular times, we are putting our best-ever ski programme on sale.
Jet2.com has expanded its winter flight schedule to include direct connections to some of Europe’s well-known ski resorts. From Chambery, travellers can reach the slopes of Courchevel and the wider Three Valleys area, noted for its extensive terrain and après-ski activities. Geneva provides access to popular destinations such as Tignes, while Salzburg connects visitors to the Austrian Alps, including family-friendly resorts like Mayrhofen.
Other routes include Turin, which links to the Italian Alps with straightforward access to resorts such as Val d’Isère. Innsbruck provides close access to Tyrolean ski areas, including the Stubai Glacier. Lyon provides access to the French Alps, including popular resorts such as Les Deux Alpes. Verona provides access to the Dolomites and will host the 2026 Winter Olympics. The expanded network is expected to make it easier for winter sports travellers to reach a broader range of European ski destinations.
This route expansion signals a shift toward greater travel flexibility during the winter months. By strengthening links between the UK and alpine Europe, Jet2.com creates more opportunities for personalised travel planning. Whether travelers are seeking outdoor adventure, wellness retreats, or simply a scenic winter break, the improved connectivity supports a wider range of experiences across some of the continent’s most striking mountain regions.
