In the United States, a wing of an airplane began to fall apart during a flight: video

An emergency situation occurred on board a United Airlines plane flying from San Francisco to Boston (USA).

During the flight, the plane lost part of the right wing skin, forcing the crew to make an emergency landing at Denver Airport, NBC Bay Area reports.

One of the 165 passengers on the flight, 67-year-old American Kevin Clark, told more about the incident. According to the man, shortly after takeoff, he suddenly felt a strong vibration that had not been there before.

Soon the captain announced minor damage to the right wing and an emergency landing in Denver. When Kevin opened the curtain and looked out the window himself, he saw that part of the skin was "literally falling apart."

As it turned out later, one of the panels that regulate the lift of the wing during takeoff and landing was damaged. Part of this structure broke off for an unknown reason.

Fortunately, the crew managed to land the plane safely. All 165 passengers remained unharmed and were immediately transferred to another United aircraft and sent on the next flight to Boston.
