Anantara Spa revealed a collaboration with the British skincare brand ELEMIS to introduce a variety of new spa treatments across its European hotels. The rollout features BIOTEC facials, which incorporate six technologies including cryotherapy, ultrasonic exfoliation, LED light therapy, oxygen infusion, microcurrent lifting, and galvanic treatment. These treatments are now available at Anantara properties in Vienna, Amsterdam, Dublin, Marbella, Nice, Budapest, Amalfi, Lisbon and Tenerife, as part of a plan to broaden spa offerings for guests across Europe.

In addition to facials, the collaboration introduces the VISIA 3D system for detailed skin analysis, which provides personalized recommendations based on a scan of the guest’s complexion. The partnership also includes the Anantara Signature Journey, a treatment program that blends Thai-inspired spa practices with ELEMIS’ product formulations. Guests at these hotels can also enjoy a variety of massages, body wraps, pregnancy care treatments, and custom facials, highlighting Anantara’s goal to expand wellness services at its major European locations.

“This collaboration allows us to combine Anantara Spa’s deep-rooted sense of place with ELEMIS’ expertise in high-performance skincare, creating a spa journey that is both culturally immersive and scientifically advanced."
Bodina Qureshi, Director of Spa and Wellness, Luxury Hotels Europe & Americas, Minor Hotels

This development adds new opportunities to include skincare and wellness services as part of their stays. With an increasing number of tourists prioritizing health and recovery during their trips, having advanced spa options on-site is a convenient way to address fatigue and stress associated with frequent travel. Business travelers can particularly take advantage of treatments conveniently available in their hotel rooms, while leisure guests have the option to incorporate spa experiences into their cultural or city-focused travel plans.

This collaboration is part of a wider movement in the hospitality sector, with hotels offering sophisticated wellness programs to attract travelers looking for experiences beyond basic lodging. Data-driven treatments, such as those using VISIA 3D technology, highlight the shift toward science-backed, evidence-based approaches in spa services. Partnering with well-known skincare brands allows hotels to ensure consistent quality at all their international locations, appealing to travelers who value dependable services and consistent experiences in a competitive travel market.

The rollout of ELEMIS treatments at Anantara hotels underscores the growing role of wellness in everyday travel planning. Spa facilities, once considered a luxury extra, have become an important factor that significantly influences guests when choosing their accommodations. Through investments in technology and strategic partnerships, hotel operators seek to draw guests looking for wellness-focused experiences, encouraging longer stays and repeat visits. For travelers, this trend offers easier access to expert wellness and recovery services, changing what they expect from hospitality experiences.
