Germany is prepared to welcome Euro 2024 fans thanks to its developed railway network. According to Railway Supply, German railways provide easy access to many cities and regions across the country.

Modern trains in Germany offer a high level of comfort, including space for luggage, Wi-Fi, and onboard catering services. This makes train travel convenient and pleasant. Additionally, rail transport is an environmentally friendly option, reducing CO2 emissions compared to air travel.

Local transport in Germany is focused on short and medium distances, connecting small towns, suburbs, and rural areas. Trains such as RegionalExpress (RE) and Regional Bahn (RB) fall into this category. Intercity transport covers longer routes between different cities and regions, including international travel. High-speed trains like InterCityExpress (ICE) and EuroCity (EC) provide high speed and comfort.

InterCityExpress A fast and modern train operating between major cities. InterCity Connects various cities, offering comfort for medium and long distances. FlixTrain An economical travel option between cities in Germany and Europe. EuroCity An international train connecting European countries. Train à Grande Vitesse A high-speed train from France operating between France and Germany.

Train tickets can be purchased online, on mobile phones, at ticket machines, or in person at the station. The Deutschland-Ticket, costing 49 euros per month, allows for the use of local transport across Germany, but is usually not valid on intercity trains like IC, EC, and ICE.

Euro 2024 football matches will take place in the following cities: Berlin, Munich, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne, Gelsenkirchen, and Leipzig. The tournament, running from June 14 to July 14, 2024, will attract millions of fans. The format includes a group stage, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final in Berlin.

With its efficient railway network, Germany is ready to provide convenient and eco-friendly travel options for football fans.
