Eurostar, the renowned high-speed rail service in Europe, has introduced its first-ever Golden Train, marking a celebratory tribute to the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Golden Train is poised to offer a memorable and medal-worthy experience for both athletes and passengers.

The special golden e320 trains are adorned to honor the athletes and will be used to transport competitors and spectators to Paris throughout the games. Eurostar is preparing to welcome over 2,000 athletes from four teams: Team GB, Team Belgium, Team Netherlands, and Team Germany. The high-speed trains are set to play a crucial role in facilitating seamless travel to and from the events.

From July to September, Eurostar is anticipating two million travelers to utilize its services to reach the Olympic events in Paris. Peak travel days are expected during the opening and closing ceremonies, specifically from July 25th to 27th and August 10th to 12th. To accommodate this surge, Eurostar is increasing its services and adding up to eight extra trips between London and Paris on peak Olympic days.

Eurostar's enhanced schedule will see 160 trains transporting athletes and staff from teams across Europe. This will be the first time such a large-scale collaboration with multiple national teams has been undertaken.

During the Olympics, passengers in Business Premier, Standard Premier, and Premium classes will enjoy exclusive Olympic-themed desserts and chocolates. Additionally, a new Olympic-gold cocktail menu will be available in lounges in both Paris and London:about 21,000 glasses are expected to be served during the games. For those looking to continue the celebration, a dedicated fan zone will be set up in Coal Drops Yard, extending the Olympic festivities beyond the train journey.
