Eurostar Launches £35 Summer Rail Sale
Eurostar has opened a short sale on selected journeys from London St Pancras International, cutting some one-way fares by up to 50%. The offer is aimed at people planning late-summer city breaks or cross-border trips by rail, but it is not a blanket discount across all ticket types. Travellers need to book quickly and check the eligible dates before choosing a train.
What the Eurostar Summer Sale Covers
- Operator: Eurostar
- Departure station: London St Pancras International
- Destinations: Paris, Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam and Rotterdam
- Travel window: 28 July to 23 September 2026
- Booking deadline: 13 July 2026 at 22:59
- Lowest one-way fare: From £35
- Eligible fares: Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier only
- Passenger rule: Adults travelling in groups of two to nine
- Not eligible: Standard, Child, Youth and Senior tickets
- Blackout dates: Some dates are excluded and must be checked before booking
The deal applies only to selected one-way journeys in Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier, so travellers looking for the cheapest Standard fares will not see the discount. Refund rules also differ by fare type. Eurostar Plus tickets can be refunded at least seven days before departure, with a fee, while Premier tickets can be refunded without a fee until 48 hours after the original departure time.
The offer puts several classic rail-friendly city breaks back on the table before the end of summer. Paris works for exhibitions, restaurants and neighbourhood stays, while Lille is close enough for a shorter escape without losing a day to travel. Brussels gives easy onward access across Belgium, and the direct Amsterdam and Rotterdam trains suit travellers who want the Netherlands without airport queues or checked-bag rules.
The main catch is that the sale is not for everyone. Solo travellers are excluded because bookings must include at least two adults, and families using Child, Youth or Senior fares will not qualify. The £35 price can still be useful for adult pairs or small groups, but only after checking the travel date, fare type, refund terms and final basket price.
