Etihad Adds Eight Summer Routes
Etihad Airways is adding three new seasonal routes and bringing back five summer services across Europe and Africa. The summer programme covers new flights to Krakow, Palma de Mallorca and Zanzibar, alongside resumed services to Malaga, Mykonos, Santorini, Nice and Al Alamein. The routes are part of the airline’s seasonal network through Abu Dhabi.
On the first flight of each seasonal route, passengers will receive a limited-edition Etihad Summer Essentials Kit. It comes in a waterproof backpack and includes a phone pouch, one-shot electrolytes, Al Ain flavoured sparkling water, a ginger brew drink and water wipes. The kit is available only on the first departure of each listed route.
New and Returning Routes
Etihad’s summer programme includes:
- Krakow: from 11 June
- Palma de Mallorca: from 12 June
- Zanzibar: from 14 June
- Malaga and Mykonos: from 15 June
- Santorini: from 16 June
- Nice: from 19 June
- Al Alamein: from 16 July
Passengers should check schedules and availability before booking.
The routes add more choice for summer trips through Abu Dhabi, especially for travellers looking at European city breaks, Mediterranean islands and beach destinations. Krakow brings access to Poland’s old town, Kazimierz gallery and nearby Wieliczka Salt Mine. Palma opens Mallorca’s coast and historic centre, while Zanzibar adds Stone Town, spice farms and Indian Ocean beaches.
Etihad is adding more summer options through Abu Dhabi at the start of the peak holiday period, with beach, island and city destinations all included. The clear launch dates also make it easier to compare trips for June and July before seats fill on seasonal services. For passengers, the value is in having more choice across different types of summer breaks rather than waiting for last-minute route additions.
