Emirates has resumed daily flights to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking a significant expansion of its Far East network. The service, which includes a stopover in Singapore, effectively increases Emirates' operations to 21 points across the region and enhances its Singapore service to four daily flights.

The introduction of this route was celebrated at a special event in Emirates' Airport Lounge, featuring a cake-cutting ceremony attended by notable dignitaries including His Excellency Jamal Abdulla Mohammed Bin Abdulwahab AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, and representatives from the Cambodian Embassy and the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS). This event highlighted the collaborative spirit and the strengthening of ties between these dynamic regions.

Adding to the festive launch, the inaugural flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, was greeted in Phnom Penh with a traditional Cambodian dance performance, underscoring the cultural bridge being reinforced by this new service. This aircraft, known for its comfort and spaciousness, features three class configurations, enhancing the travel experience with luxury and style.

Cyril Girot, CEO of Cambodia Airports, also expressed enthusiasm about the positive impact this route will have on Phnom Penh's connectivity and travel options, contributing significantly to the airport’s ongoing efforts to expand its international route network.

Emirates' commitment to enhancing global connectivity with its top-tier services continues to support international travel, business, and cultural exchange, reinforcing its position as a leading airline in the aviation industry.
