easyJet Company Limited has said that its flight crews across Italy will strike on Friday, 14 November 2025. The walkout is planned to last four hours, from 13:00 to 17:00 local time. The airline has advised passengers that delays and cancellations may occur during the action and recommends checking with airlines, travel agencies, or tour operators for the latest flight information.

The strike forms part of wider industrial action across Italy’s aviation sector, with several airlines expected to face disruption. Although the strike window is limited, delays may continue beyond the scheduled hours due to changes in crew availability and aircraft positioning. easyJet has stated it will do its best to operate as many flights as possible but cannot rule out last-minute adjustments.

The disruption could continue later in the day as airlines reorganise flight schedules and crew shifts. Airports such as Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa may see longer waiting lines and slower boarding or baggage handling, which could affect both local and international flights. Airlines operating from the same airports could face brief delays if runways or ground services become congested.

The timing of the strike coincides with one of the busiest travel periods of the season, as many people head off for autumn breaks or early winter holidays. Those planning to fly on 14 November are encouraged to stay updated on flight information and allow extra time for airport procedures, especially if travelling through major Italian hubs.

Strikes cause delays, but good planning helps lessen the effect. Whenever a strike is announced, preparation is necessary. Passengers must check flight details the day before their trip, arrive at the airport early, and confirm their travel insurance covers costs related to the strike. In case of a cancellation, passengers can select alternate flight paths, use nearby airports, or book with different airlines to continue their trip. Remaining calm and adaptive usually helps to bypass extra delays.
