The outbreak, confirmed by the CDC, prompted the cruise line to implement enhanced sanitation protocols and delay its next voyage for thorough cleaning. Norovirus, known for its high contagion, has been linked to several outbreaks this year, reminding travelers of the risks associated with large groups in confined spaces. This incident, alongside reports of bed bug infestations on other ships, highlights the importance of researching cruise lines and their safety records.
