Cork Airport Adds Seasonal Route to Greek Island
A seasonal air route between Cork Airport and the Greek island of Corfu began operating on May 9 and will continue weekly on Fridays until September 12, 2025. This development marks the second Greek island destination introduced at Cork within the past two years. The route adds to the limited range of summer options available from Ireland’s southern region without requiring travel through larger hub airports elsewhere in Europe.
Flights are scheduled to depart on Friday afternoons and are part of TUI’s seasonal summer network. Taking this flight drops you right where the cruise ships leave, so there’s no need to deal with other airports or zigzag across countries just to start your sea trip. Flying just once a week won’t suit every traveler’s plans, but it’s still a handy way to get straight to Greece from Cork without juggling multiple flights or hanging around in busy transfer hubs.
