Britons are still heading to the seaside resort that topped the list of the worst

The British people choose this city, which boasts beautiful sandy beaches and low room rates. With a hotel nightly rate of £11 or less, this resort continues to be a consistent leader.

Despite the fact that there are plenty of towns on the UK coast where you can relax by the sea and enjoy delicious food on the seafront, they choose Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. It's hard to believe, but Which? magazine named it one of the 10 worst beach destinations in the country, the Mirror reports.

This place is valued among the British for its inexpensive vacation and long sandy beach. However, last year, tourists complained about old arcades, poor bed and breakfasts, and seagull aggression. Nevertheless, on TripAdvisor, the British continue to defend this resort from a bad reputation. In their opinion, the complaints do not match the "beautiful beach," and it is "never crowded." Great Yarmouth in Norfolk is called a hidden gem for those who can tolerate unpredictable British weather.

In the comments on the TripAdvisor website, tourists leave their positive feedback in defense of the poor rating by Which?

"Great Yarmouth has some beautiful beaches to spend the day on, and they are so big that you never feel crowded."

"This beautiful and vast beach and its clean promenade are packed with everything you need for the seaside. Such great souvenir shops right across the street and plenty of guesthouses and hotels."

"We also went as a family of four, with children aged 8 and 12 and grandparents. Everyone was entertained all day, and it's fantastic value for money!"

"We didn't stop all day, going on rides suitable for the whole group, and not once was anyone bored. The food choices and prices were amazing. The staff was very accommodating. Be sure to visit when you are in Yarmouth with the whole family!"

According to visitors to this beach resort, there are plenty of restaurants, pastry shops, and cafes where you can taste delicious ice cream. There are also attractions in case of bad weather, such as the SEA LIFE aquarium, National Trust buildings, arcades, and museums.

The amusement park Pleasure Beach was positively rated, which will appeal to families with children.

And the main news is the prices. On accommodation booking sites, you can find such interesting offers as a room for £11. For example, on booking.com, a room at the Easton at Majestic, which is just 450 yards from the beach, can be booked for £11, which is only £5.50 per person for two adults.
