Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has officially announced an extensive expansion of its summer flight program, now encompassing around 60 global destinations. This strategic move introduces several new routes across Europe and Asia, marking a significant enhancement from last year's offerings.

Starting this June, AZAL will commence flights to Bucharest and Sofia, increasing the total number of European destinations accessible to its passengers this summer to 10. The expansion provides travelers with a plethora of options, ranging from Italy's famed culinary scene to Spain's lively beaches, Austria's picturesque landscapes, and the historical allure of the Czech Republic's castles.

AZAL's commitment to diversification extends beyond Europe. The airline's summer schedule includes destinations across the Black, Mediterranean, and Aegean Seas, as well as cultural hubs in cities such as Beijing, Mumbai, and Karachi. The route portfolio features both leisure hotspots like Barcelona, Batumi, and Antalya, and dynamic urban centers like Dubai and Tivat, catering to a wide range of traveler interests.

In response to increased demand, AZAL has also boosted flight frequencies on popular routes to destinations such as Berlin, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tel Aviv, among others. This enhancement in service frequency aims to provide travelers with greater flexibility and convenience during the busy summer months.

The growth trajectory of AZAL's flight offerings is notable, with the airline having expanded its reach from 27 destinations in 2022 to 58 in 2024. Istanbul, Antalya, Moscow, Dubai, and Tbilisi remain the most frequented international destinations in AZAL's network this season.
