Guests can now stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Manila inside the GLAS Tower in Ortigas Center, the first location of the AC Hotels brand in the Philippines. The hotel opened in late 2025 and adds another accommodation choice in one of Metro Manila’s main business areas. Its entry provides travellers with an additional option when planning short trips, work-related stays, or overnight visits within the capital’s commercial zone.

The hotel contains 160 rooms and suites, all designed to offer views across the Ortigas skyline. Standard rooms are priced at around PHP 8,000 to PHP 10,000 per night (about USD 140–175), while larger suites cost roughly PHP 12,000 to PHP 15,000 (around USD 210–260) depending on dates and booking levels. The listed rates are influenced by the hotel’s placement in a major commercial area and by the kind of rooms available for both brief visits and longer stays.

"AC Hotel by Marriott Manila represents the perfect fusion of European precision and Filipino hospitality. From our signature AC Moments to breathtaking views from our rooftop AC Bar, we are committed to creating unforgettable memories as a premier destination for meetings, weddings, social gatherings, and elevated experiences. We look forward to welcoming travellers to a new standard of modern hospitality in Manila."
Melvyn Angeles, General Manager, AC Hotel by Marriott Manila

Facilities and guest experience

Inside the hotel, travellers will find several dining areas serving a mix of Filipino and international dishes, an indoor swimming pool, and a 24-hour fitness room. Communal areas are located on several floors of the building, and a number of them offer views of nearby streets and towers. The interior layout keeps to a simple and modern look, avoiding heavy decoration so that shared spaces and rooms feel uniform and easy to find one’s way around.

What the city offers nearby

Visitors staying in Ortigas Center can reach a number of well-known places with little effort. SM Megamall, a major shopping and entertainment complex, lies within a short distance from the hotel. Close to Ortigas Center is the EDSA Shrine, a site associated with key moments in recent national history and one that still draws people who wish to reflect on those events. For those willing to travel further, the historic Intramuros district in Manila’s old city, with its colonial-era walls and plazas, is reachable by public transport or taxi in under an hour.

For visitors to Manila, the opening introduces another option in the mid-to-upper segment of city accommodation. It does not significantly change general travel patterns, yet it broadens the list of centrally located places to stay for those arranging business travel, multi-purpose urban visits, or stopovers. Its arrival reflects continued development in the hotel sector within Manila’s core districts.
