Yorkshire has entered the top three leaders of the "best" places to visit in the world in 2024
Conde Nast Traveler has ranked Yorkshire as the third-best place in the world to visit in 2024.
The 'God's Own County' secured a coveted spot among the most exciting destinations for 2024, surpassing Chile, Canada, and Australia to claim a position in the top three, according to a report by Examinerlive.
Yorkshire trails only Budapest, Hungary, and the Cyclades in Greece on the list of 24 must-visit places by the luxury travel magazine. The article commended Yorkshire for its lush green landscapes and thriving culinary scene.
"Yorkshire boasts some of the most captivating natural wonders: picturesque landscapes resembling living oil paintings, rolling valleys and peaks, dense forests under expansive skies, fragrant lavender fields, towering forests alive with birdsong, and golden sandy waves gently caressing the minty blue sea," said Rachel Everett of Conde Nast Traveler.
Much acclaim was directed at Yorkshire's culinary offerings, including its wealth of Michelin-starred restaurants and chefs. The article also highlighted upcoming festivals in Yorkshire for the next year, such as The Dark Skies Festival and The Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta.
Yorkshire outshone several exotic destinations on the list, including Mauritius, South and Central Sri Lanka, and Saudi Arabia. Conde Nast expressed anticipation for more enchantment from Yorkshire in 2024.
