Wrocław Gets Winter Sun and Ski Links

Wizz Air will add two new winter routes from Wrocław Airport, giving passengers direct options for both Red Sea holidays and Alpine trips. Flights to Hurghada will start in October 2026, followed by a new Turin service in January 2027. The additions expand the airport’s winter schedule for travellers planning sunshine, diving, skiing or a cold-season city break.
New winter routes for sun and snow
Wrocław to Hurghada:
- Launches on 25 October 2026
- Runs three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
- Operates until the end of April 2027
- Best for winter sun, Red Sea beaches, diving, snorkelling and watersports
Wrocław to Turin:
- Launches on 16 January 2027
- Runs once a week on Saturdays
- Best for ski trips, Alpine access, Piedmont city breaks and Italian winter weekends
The Hurghada service is the stronger option for passengers looking for winter sun without booking a full holiday package. With three weekly flights until the end of April 2027, the route gives travellers more control over hotel choice, trip length and activities. The Red Sea resort is known for beaches, diving, snorkelling, kitesurfing, windsurfing and boat trips around coral reefs.
Turin adds a different kind of winter break, with Saturday flights from 16 January 2027. The city sits at the foot of the Alps, so it works for ski trips as well as short stays built around Piedmont food, museums, cafés and historic squares. The once-weekly schedule makes it better suited to planned ski weeks or fixed weekend breaks.
The routes give Wrocław passengers two clear winter choices: warmer weather in Egypt or mountain access in northern Italy. Hurghada is useful for escaping the Polish winter, while Turin opens an easier route towards Alpine resorts without changing planes at a larger hub. Travellers should match hotel dates, transfers and ski plans to the flight days before booking.
