Upgraded Cabin Now Operating on Frankfurt International Routes

Lufthansa has rolled out its Allegris cabin concept on long-haul services departing from Frankfurt, providing improved comfort across a wider range of destinations. The first flight featuring the updated cabin departed on October 9, 2025, from Frankfurt to Toronto, Canada. As part of the winter schedule, flights to Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, and Hyderabad will also feature Allegris-equipped aircraft, with Austin, Texas, set to follow in December.

The rollout of Allegris in Frankfurt follows its initial introduction on Airbus A350-900 aircraft from Munich in May 2024. Key points regarding the cabin’s reception and rollout include:

In Toronto, travelers can explore the CN Tower, take a walk along Harbourfront Centre, or visit the vibrant Distillery District. Rio de Janeiro features Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Tijuca Forest among its main outdoor attractions. In Bogotá, visitors can head up Monserrate Hill, explore the colonial streets of La Candelaria, or stop by the Usaquén market.

The new Allegris services also improve long-distance travel comfort. Passengers flying to Hyderabad can access the Charminar area, enjoy the local bazaars, or explore Hussain Sagar Lake. Upgraded seating layouts and modern cabin technology aim to make extended flights more comfortable and consistent across all classes. Passengers who often fly long distances may find these routes helpful for combining efficient travel with improved onboard conditions.

As more Boeing 787 aircraft are delivered in the coming weeks, Lufthansa intends to introduce Allegris cabins on additional long-haul routes from Frankfurt.
