Travelling makes us happy, so it's no surprise that many people love it. It is important to choose comfortable transportation for travelling. That's why people choose air travel even if there are delays or large crowds.
However, can you guess which flight was the busiest this year? Travel analytics company OAG has published its annual list of the world's busiest international air routes, according to CNN Travel.
This data is based on the number of seats sold on flights during 2023. The busiest route has 4.9 million seats booked, connecting Singapore with the Malaysian capital. The short one-hour journey is popular with travellers who choose to fly rather than drive between the two neighbouring countries.
All but one of the 10 busiest routes are in Asia and the Middle East, with the only exception being the New York-London flight.
