Stuttgart Lands a Dubrovnik Summer Link

Croatia Airlines has launched a new route between Stuttgart and Dubrovnik, giving travellers in south-west Germany a direct link to Croatia’s Adriatic coast. The service is now operating twice a week and will continue until the end of October. Flights run on Mondays and Fridays, making the route suitable for both longer holidays and extended weekend trips.
Flight Details
The new seasonal service includes a simple schedule for passengers planning summer and autumn travel:
- Route: Stuttgart to Dubrovnik
- Airline: Croatia Airlines
- Frequency: twice weekly
- Operating days: Mondays and Fridays
- Season: until the end of October
The route adds another direct option between Germany and Croatia during the main leisure travel period.
Dubrovnik sits in southern Croatia and remains one of the country’s best-known coastal destinations. Its walled Old Town is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the city’s position on the Adriatic gives visitors easy access to sea views, boat trips and nearby islands. The new flights place that mix of history and coast within easier reach of Stuttgart Airport.
The route could make short Adriatic breaks more practical for travellers who do not want to connect through larger hubs. Dubrovnik works well for Old Town walks, Lokrum Island, cable car views, coastal restaurants and day trips along the Dalmatian coast. It can also serve as a starting point for wider Croatia itineraries, especially outside the busiest summer weeks.
The new service is a useful addition for travellers in Baden-Württemberg looking at Croatia for late spring, summer or early autumn. Twice-weekly flights give enough flexibility for a week away or a long weekend, while the October end date keeps Dubrovnik available beyond peak holiday season. For Croatia Airlines, the route strengthens access to one of the Adriatic’s most recognisable cities.
