Strasbourg Adds Three UK Links As Jet2 Enters Alsace

Strasbourg Airport will welcome Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks for the first time in winter 2026/27, with three new routes launching in late November. The British leisure airline will operate services to Edinburgh, Manchester and London Stansted, each twice weekly. The move marks Jet2’s debut in Alsace and forms part of the airport’s strategy to broaden its airline base.
Winter Flight Schedule From Strasbourg
- Edinburgh – Mondays and Fridays, 27 November to 21 December (exclusive to Jet2)
- Manchester – Thursdays and Sundays, 26 November to 20 December
- London Stansted – Thursdays and Sundays, 26 November to 20 December (exclusive to Jet2)
All three routes will operate twice weekly, focusing on short winter breaks during the festive season rather than year-round services.
Jet2CityBreaks packages will include return flights with Jet2.com, 22kg of checked baggage and 10kg of hand luggage. The airline, known for leisure and short city trips, is positioning Strasbourg within its wider winter programme. Airport management says the partnership supports plans to diversify operators and increase passenger numbers in the coming years.
The new routes open direct access to three major British cities during the festive season. Edinburgh brings medieval streets and views across the city’s fortress-topped hill. Manchester is known as much for its football stadiums as for its independent music scene and industrial-era architecture, while London brings theatre districts, historic neighbourhoods and museums within easy reach of Stansted Airport. In return, travellers from Britain can fly straight into Alsace for Strasbourg’s winter markets and seasonal events across the region.
Jet2’s arrival reflects growing links between eastern France and the UK. With twice-weekly services on each route, the schedule focuses on short winter breaks rather than high-frequency business travel. The expansion adds competition at Strasbourg Airport and broadens choice at a time when regional airports are seeking to attract new operators and steady passenger growth.
