Stewardess names the best time to go to the bathroom during a flight
If you're a seasoned traveler, you're likely to feel completely routine when it comes to flying, but did you know that there is actually a perfect time to go to the bathroom?
Of course, bowel movements are natural and shouldn't be embarrassing, but it's understandable that for some people, going to public restrooms is uncomfortable. However, according to one flight attendant, there is a perfect time to go to the bathroom, and if you're worried about the smell, there's a trick to avoid it, writes Huffington Post.
Erica Roth, a former flight attendant, says that the best time to go to the bathroom on an airplane is as soon as the seatbelt sign goes out and lasts until drinks are served.
"Cramped conditions, poor ventilation, and lack of efficient plumbing - to put it bluntly, the stench can quickly fill the cabin," says the flight attendant.
However, she says there is a simple solution to this problem. She suggested an old flight attendant trick: "Ask the flight attendant for coffee grounds bags and then hang them in the toilet. They will absorb the odor."
