Stay away from this part of the ship: passengers were advised how not to get sick on a cruise
Staying in a closed space with hundreds of other people for a long time can be dangerous. Especially in winter, when the risk of getting sick increases due to deteriorating weather and exacerbation of chronic diseases. That's why you should keep an eye on your hygiene and avoid bacterial breeding grounds while cruising.
According to Express, Yasmin Pekel, CEO of Blue Cruise, advised passengers to stay away from the buffet table. According to her, dining there can cost a good vacation.
Although the ship's staff keeps it clean, not all passengers can pick up food properly. Some of them touch the food with their hands, pick up food without cutlery, and others even sneeze and cough over the food.
This can potentially lead to infection with any virus, which will ruin the whole trip.
Instead, guests are advised to visit one of the restaurants on board, where only the chef and waiters will come into contact with the food.
The risk of picking up bacteria or viruses is much lower during restaurant service, but you should still remember to wash your hands before eating.
