Ryanair launches new flights to resorts in Europe and Africa from Edinburgh: How much will tickets cost
In the summer of 2024, Britons will be able to enjoy two new vacation destinations thanks to the launch of additional flights from Edinburgh. Ryanair will introduce new routes to Biarritz and Bergerac in France.
This will be a great alternative for about 17 million Britons who choose a romantic country for their vacation every year, The Scottish Sun reports.
Starting from April 2 and 3 this year, the airline will launch flights to Biarritz (on Mondays and Thursdays) and Bergerac (on Tuesdays and Saturdays) twice a week. Fares are £22 and £26 respectively.
Biarritz, located on the southwestern coast of France, attracts passengers with its maritime attractions such as Rocher de la Vierge and Côte des Basques.
Bergerac, on the other hand, is a commune in the Dordogne known for its ancient city and the wonderful summer weather in the Dordogne Valley.
These are not the only new destinations from Ryanair this year that will depart from Edinburgh. The airline is also adding a new route to Agadir in Morocco.
Tickets will be available for sale from April 1 at a price starting from £65. The flights will be operated twice a week (on Mondays and Saturdays).
Jonny Macneal, Head of Aviation at Edinburgh Airport, said, "Adding new destinations means we're offering people new places to travel, and that's something we're always looking to do. This summer, our passengers will be able to explore Bergerac, wander the stunning city of Biarritz or soak up the sun in Agadir."
