Ryanair Adds Three Gdańsk City Break Routes
Ryanair will add three new routes from Gdańsk this autumn, giving passengers more options for city breaks and southern Europe trips. The airline will launch flights to Madrid, Budapest and Catania in late October 2026. Tickets are already available through Ryanair’s booking system, with each route planned to run several times a week.
The new services strengthen Gdańsk’s autumn schedule with a mix of capital-city and leisure destinations. Madrid and Budapest add more choice for short urban breaks, while Catania gives passengers a direct route to eastern Sicily. The launch also comes as Wizz Air already serves or plans similar routes from Gdańsk, adding more competition.

The schedule gives northern Poland three extra direct options for autumn and winter travel.
The routes widen travel choices from Gdańsk without needing extra transfers through larger hubs. Madrid brings museums, food markets and weekend football trips within easier reach, while Budapest suits spa breaks, river walks and lower-cost city stays. Catania adds direct access to eastern Sicily, including Mount Etna, coastal towns and onward trips around the island.
The launch gives Gdańsk passengers more control over timing, price and airline choice on popular short-break routes. Competition with Wizz Air may also make these markets more interesting for fare-watchers, especially outside peak periods. The strongest benefit is simple: three destinations with clear leisure appeal will become easier to book from northern Poland this autumn.
