Redesigned Visa Pearl Lounge Opens at Bratislava Airport
Visa has introduced an updated concept for the Visa Pearl Lounge at Bratislava M. R. Štefánik Airport, marking the 57th location within the expanding Pearl Lounge network and the only one in Slovakia. The lounge is operated by Menzies Aviation and is located in the airside departure area. The redesign offers a more comfortable space for travellers who want a quieter place to spend time before boarding their flight.
The renovated lounge covers 187 square metres and can host up to 63 guests at a time. The space has been divided into several functional areas designed to support different travel needs. Visitors will find seating designed for relaxation as well as areas intended for work, dining and refreshments, together with complimentary Wi-Fi access available throughout the lounge.

Access conditions depend on the type of Visa card held. Travellers with Visa Infinite cards receive two complimentary visits each year, while holders of Visa Gold, Platinum and selected business cards can enter at a reduced price. Entry may also be available to other travellers through single-visit purchase, subject to availability at the time of departure.
Improved lounge facilities at Bratislava Airport may support smoother departures for travellers using connections across Europe and beyond. The airport serves routes to destinations such as London, Rome, Milan, Barcelona and other European cities, meaning passengers starting their journeys in Slovakia have an additional option for spending time comfortably before boarding shorter or longer flights.

The redesign reflects growing demand for airport spaces that allow travellers to organise work, rest or meals before departure. As passenger numbers at Bratislava Airport are expected to increase in 2026, upgraded lounge facilities may help distribute passenger flow more efficiently while offering an alternative environment away from busy gate areas, particularly during peak travel periods.
