Lufthansa will introduce its Allegris-equipped Airbus A350 on flights between Singapore and Munich on 26 October 2026. The move brings the airline’s newest long-haul cabin product to one of its key Asian routes and marks the return of Lufthansa First Class to Singapore. Tickets for the upgraded service are already available through Lufthansa and travel agents.

The Allegris cabin will cover all travel classes, with the biggest changes in premium seats. First Class will offer private suites with high walls and upgraded dining, while Business Class will include direct aisle access at every seat, more seating choices and new onboard technology. Premium Economy and Economy Class will also receive redesigned seats, larger screens and practical updates for long-haul journeys.

What Will Change on Board

Lufthansa says the Singapore launch supports its wider investment in the market and its Munich hub. The airline is also adding its Future Onboard Experience, known as FOX, backed by more than €70 million in 2026.

  • Allegris A350 on Singapore–Munich flights
  • First Class returning to Singapore
  • Updated cabins across all classes
  • Direct access to the Munich Stopover programme

The Munich link gives Singapore-based travellers another comfortable way into southern Germany and onward through Europe. Munich itself becomes easier to plan as a short stop, with access to Bavaria’s old town squares, beer halls, museums and Alpine day trips. The route also keeps cities such as Vienna, Prague, Zurich and northern Italy within reach through Lufthansa’s wider European network.

This upgrade matters because long-haul comfort can change how people plan a trip, especially on overnight flights between Asia and Europe. Better privacy, seat choice and cabin design may make Munich a stronger alternative to larger connecting hubs. It also deepens the Lufthansa Group and Singapore Airlines joint venture, giving travellers another polished option on a busy premium route.
