Due to unprecedented demand, ABTA LifeLine has expanded the capacity for its first-ever charity golf day, scheduled for June 18, 2024, at Crondon Park Golf Club. The organization has added spaces for 10 more teams, responding to the enthusiastic registration by members of the travel industry.

This charity event, which initially aimed to host a limited number of teams, now opens up for 40 additional participants, allowing a broader section of the community to engage in fundraising efforts. The day will feature not only the golf tournament but also a series of complementary activities including a breakfast, an awards presentation, a charity auction, and a concluding BBQ.

ABTA LifeLine, known for its commitment to supporting travel industry professionals in times of need, organizes this event to gather funds crucial for its operations. The inclusion of a Texas Scramble format ensures that golfers of all experience levels can participate comfortably, promoting a spirit of inclusivity.

Trudie Clements, Director of ABTA LifeLine, shared her excitement about the expansion, noting the strong support from the industry. "The response has been overwhelming, and we're thrilled to welcome more teams to what promises to be a memorable day of sportsmanship and fundraising," said Clements.

The event also offers various sponsorship opportunities, from headline sponsorship to sponsoring individual holes, providing additional ways for companies to show their support.

As the date approaches, the anticipation builds not only for a day of competitive golf but also for the opportunity it presents to rally the travel industry around a charitable cause, highlighting the community's solidarity and commitment to supporting its own.
