LOT has launched new direct flights from Gdańsk to Brussels, Oslo and Bergen, expanding its network in northern Poland. The routes officially began at the end of April 2026, strengthening the airport’s role in regional connectivity. Flights to Brussels operate four times a week, while Oslo is served up to five times weekly and Bergen up to three times.

The Brussels service runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with an evening departure from Gdańsk and a flight time of under two hours. Oslo flights depart early in the morning on selected weekdays and Saturday, taking around one hour and 35 minutes. Bergen services operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with journey times close to one hour and 50 minutes.

The launch was marked by an official event in Gdańsk on 29 April. Airline and airport representatives pointed to the growing importance of the city as a gateway for northern Poland. The new routes connect the region with key administrative, business and cultural centres, while also adding access to destinations known for coastal landscapes and outdoor travel.

These routes make short trips and longer stays easier to organise. Brussels is known for its old squares, galleries and busy café culture. Oslo sits by the water, with ferries to nearby islands and green areas close to the centre. Bergen, surrounded by hills and fjords, is often used as a starting point for trips along Norway’s western coast.

Flying without a connection cuts out the usual stop at larger airports, which often means less waiting and fewer chances of delays along the way. Flights leave directly from Gdańsk, with no need to route through other airports on the way to Scandinavia or Belgium. With flights spread across the week, it becomes easier to pick a day that fits around work, a weekend break or a last-minute decision to travel.
