The "Frozen" Suite for £9,000: A new hotel has opened in Disneyland Paris
Disney opened the doors of its iconic Disneyland Hotel in Paris on January 25 after a two-year "reimagining" of the pink palace. The opening marks an important milestone in the ongoing transformation of the European part of the "Happiest Place on Earth", where the Walt Disney Studios park is yet to open the Frozen themed area and Tangled attraction.
Guests of all ages will be greeted by a royal greeter at the renovated flagship hotel. They will have breakfast with Disney characters and sleep in one of the 487 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the libraries of famous French castles, as reported by the Yahoo! News website.
Five signature room designs dedicated to princesses from Cinderella to Rapunzel and two unique suites - the Beauty and the Beast-inspired Prince and the Frozen-inspired Ice Palace - await guests willing to spend serious money on a Castle Club vacation, with the Royal Suite reportedly costing up to £9,000 per night.
In addition, guests can enjoy a private entrance to the Disney park via the hotel elevator, early access to the parks, a seven-course pillow-top menu, and dedicated "story keepers" to guide Disney fans through every corner of the hotel.
The Disneyland Hotel Spa by Clarins offers a break from daily marathons in the theme parks with pools and treatments for adults and children to enjoy a royal treatment, as well as French cuisine restaurants.
Feast at the Royal Banquet restaurant, where members of the Disney royal family and their friends parade around the tables, dine like Cinderella and her prince at La Table de Lumière, and try your hand at gourmet afternoon tea at the Fleur de Lys bar.
As the world's only five-star hotel dedicated to the beloved Disney characters, it seems to have everything covered. Looking to buy some souvenirs?
