flydubai Boosts Milan and Naples Flights
flydubai is increasing flights between Dubai and Italy on two separate routes. Naples is now served daily, while Milan-Bergamo will receive two flights a day. A further change applies only in November, when the Naples service will temporarily use Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport because of maintenance at Naples International Airport. Flights will return to Naples at the start of December.
Key Changes to flydubai’s Italy Schedule
- Dubai–Naples: Daily from 27 July 2026
- Dubai–Milan-Bergamo: Twice daily from 31 July
- Temporary November airport: Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport
- Salerno operating period: 1–30 November
- Return to Naples: 1 December
- November bookings: Rebooked to Salerno automatically
- Olbia service: Twice weekly until late August
- Economy return fares: DXB–QSR from AED 2,885; QSR–DXB from €610
Anyone booked to fly between Dubai and Naples during November will use Salerno instead. flydubai will transfer existing reservations automatically, so passengers will not need to buy another ticket. The flight dates remain in place, but the airport changes. Travellers should check their updated booking, particularly if they have already arranged accommodation, rail tickets, airport transfers or car hire in Naples.
The expanded schedule improves access to both northern and southern Italy. Milan-Bergamo works well for Bergamo, Milan and the nearby lakes, while Naples gives access to Pompeii, Capri and the Bay of Naples. During November, Salerno may suit visitors heading towards the Amalfi Coast or Cilento, although anyone staying in Naples will need to arrange a longer onward journey after landing.
Anyone booked to Naples in November should check more than the flight number. The ticket will remain valid, but landing in Salerno can affect hotel transfers, rail connections and car hire arranged in Naples. The extra flights add useful choice on both Italian routes, although passengers travelling during the temporary airport change may need to adjust the final part of their journey.
