Fairmont’s "Special Happens" Brings Local Traditions into Modern Travel
On October 22, 2025, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts introduced a new travel experience line called "Special Happens..." during a launch event held in New York City. Expanding on the brand’s previous "Make Special Happen" campaign, the initiative presents twelve distinctive journeys to Fairmont destinations across the globe. Each trip aims to introduce guests to the local culture, cuisine, and nature. This shows that the hospitality industry is increasingly focusing on immersive, experience-driven travel.
The collection is organized into four themes: After Dark, In the Wild, Around the Table, and In the Spotlight. Each theme presents a distinct view of travel, focusing on wellness, adventure, gastronomy, and cultural discovery. Instead of emphasizing traditional luxury, the project centers on real, meaningful experiences that connect travelers with each destination. These experiences convey the genuine spirit and individuality of every destination.
Adventures After Dark
