According to the Khaleej Times, the public was urged to be careful while walking outdoors and traveling by car. The warning applies to Asab, Liwa, Hamim and Habshan districts.
Abu Dhabi police warned citizens of low visibility on the roads caused by fast winds full of small, solid particles.
On the same day, heavy rains continued in some parts of the country, which began the day before. The precipitation was accompanied by wind and thunderstorms.
The National Center for Meteorology announced the possibility of light to moderate rains over such areas of Dubai as Lahabab and Al Yufra, as well as Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Residents of the country living near the sea were advised to stay away from the coast, as dust and sand are expected to be kicked up by the wind. The water in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman may be rough.
