The world’s first hotel rooms inspired by the BBC preschool series Hey Duggee will open at Alton Towers Resort next month. The new accommodation, located inside the CBeebies Land Hotel, is designed to recreate the colourful Duggee Clubhouse seen in the popular children’s programme. Launching on 14 March, the rooms allow families to extend their visit to the theme park with a themed overnight stay centred around the show’s well-known characters.

Two types of room will be available: a standard Duggee room and a larger suite. Each space can sleep up to five guests and is decorated with features inspired by the animated series. The rooms include a double bed with a themed headboard, dedicated children’s bunk beds inspired by the Squirrel Club, character-themed furniture and a television showing Duggee content.

What the Hey Duggee rooms include

  • Standard room or family suite sleeping up to five guests
  • Themed furniture, television and character décor
  • Children’s bunk beds inspired by the Squirrel Club
  • Tea and coffee facilities, cot and toiletries
  • Full English breakfast, free parking and nine-hole golf access

Hotel guests can also take part in family activities throughout the day and evening, including tots discos, live shows and stargazing sessions.

A one-night stay in the Hey Duggee standard room during March or April starts at £343, while the themed suite begins at £450 per night. Theme park admission is not included in the price. Entry to Alton Towers, which includes access to CBeebies Land, costs from £34 when booked online in advance, with discounted options available for parents visiting with toddlers.

For families planning a visit, the themed rooms add another reason to spend more than a single day at Alton Towers. Young fans can move directly between the park’s CBeebies Land attractions and a hotel environment designed around the same characters. The launch also arrives alongside another child-focused addition: the world’s first Bluey rollercoaster, scheduled to open at the resort later in March.
