Royal Brunei Airlines has confirmed that its flights to and from Dubai will remain suspended until 2 July 2026. The airline states that the decision follows the current regional airspace situation and will stay under review. Passengers affected by the suspension are being offered several options, including changes to travel plans or refunds, depending on individual booking conditions.

Travellers with tickets for Dubai routes can rebook onto the next available Royal Brunei Airlines flight once services resume, change their itinerary within the airline’s network, request a travel voucher, or apply for a full refund to the original form of payment. Customers who booked through third-party platforms are advised to contact their agents directly for assistance with managing reservations.

Despite the suspension of Dubai services, Royal Brunei Airlines continues to run three weekly direct flights between Brunei Darussalam and London. The airline says the route remains important for travel between the two locations as regional airspace conditions are still being assessed. Further timetable changes are possible in the coming months as airlines adapt operations to the situation in the region.

Options Available for Affected Bookings

  • Rebooking on the next available Royal Brunei Airlines flight
  • Changing route within the airline’s network
  • Converting the ticket into a travel voucher
  • Requesting a full refund
  • Assistance via airline or travel agent channels

Flights between Brunei and London continue to keep an important air connection with Europe. London provides many onward travel options across the UK and other European countries, making it possible to adjust routes if needed. Travellers can continue their journeys to cities such as Manchester, Edinburgh, Paris or Amsterdam using existing flight or rail connections.

The extension of the Dubai suspension highlights how airspace restrictions influence international flight timetables. Flexible ticket rules give affected passengers the option to move travel dates or consider other routes until services resume. Flights to London continue to operate, maintaining direct connections between Southeast Asia and Europe, so passengers can continue their journeys despite some flight schedule changes.
