China Eastern International Flights at Guangzhou to Move to Terminal 3

China Eastern Airlines has confirmed changes to the handling of its international flights at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. A notice published on 25 December 2025 says that all international arriving and departing flights operated by the airline at the airport will move to Terminal 3. The update applies only to terminal handling and does not involve any changes to routes or flight schedules.
According to the announcement, the terminal relocation will take effect on 22 January 2026. From that date, all international flights operated by China Eastern at Guangzhou Baiyun will be processed through Terminal 3. The notice applies to both inbound and outbound international services and replaces previous terminal arrangements at the airport.
China Eastern has advised passengers to check terminal information before travelling and to plan their journeys accordingly. The airline advised passengers to check terminal details before travelling, as the airport operates more than one terminal. No further operational changes were mentioned in the notice, and no additional instructions were issued beyond terminal awareness.
With the move, passengers travelling on China Eastern international services at Guangzhou Baiyun will need to arrive at Terminal 3 for check-in and departure procedures. Those arriving on international flights will also be processed through the same terminal. The airline did not provide further details regarding facilities, transfers or airport services associated with the change.
Terminal assignments may change without affecting flight schedules. Passengers travelling through large hub airports such as Guangzhou Baiyun should check terminal details shortly before departure, especially on international journeys. Confirming terminal information in advance reduces the risk of confusion or delays at the airport on the day of travel.
