Celebrity Apex Began Its First Season from Southampton

Celebrity Apex, the renowned Edge series ship from Celebrity Cruises, officially began its first season from Southampton. This was a significant step as it became the first ship in the revolutionary Edge series to be based in the UK.

The debut European voyage from Southampton lasted eight nights and traversed the Norwegian fjords. This serene journey allowed guests to visit some of the most picturesque places in the region, including Bruges in Belgium, often called the "Venice of the North" for its charming canals and narrow streets, and Geiranger in Norway, known for its stunning Geirangerfjord with picturesque waterfalls and high mountains. The itinerary also included a visit to Kristiansand, Norway, known as the "Summer City" for its sandy beaches and bustling cultural scene.

Celebrity Apex, the second ship in the Edge series, introduces innovative design and luxurious amenities that redefine the concept of cruising. The ship features an exterior design with panoramic views and outstanding spaces. Guests can enjoy enhanced dining options, spa and wellness procedures, and energetic entertainment that rival land-based options.

Throughout the summer season from May to October 2024, Celebrity Apex offers diverse routes from Southampton, ranging from four to thirteen nights. Among the brightest options is a 12-day cruise to the Norwegian fjords and the Arctic Circle, showcasing the region's stunning landscapes. Guests can also embark on adventures to the Canary Islands and Mediterranean destinations like Ibiza, known for its vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches.
