Austrian Airlines is known for its punctuality, as it operates almost 100% of its flights on time. This is stated in a statement on the company's official website.
"2023 was a very productive year for the company's management and they do not plan to slow down next year. In addition to being punctual, it also won its fans with the regularity of flights - 99% were completed according to plan. At the same time, Austrian Airlines continued to modernize its fleet this year and expanded it with four A320neo.
"This is an excellent result and proof of reliability. The trust of our passengers is also reflected in the booking figures: compared to the previous year, approximately 25% more passengers relied on Austrian hospitality and flew Austrian Airlines in 2023," says COO Francesco Shortino.
Austrian Airlines is a leader in Europe
After being ranked fifth among the most punctual airlines in 2022, Austrian Airlines was consistently at the top of the list in 2023 and even took the top spot in Europe for three months.
"Next year, we are focusing on the launch of our first Boeing 787 and the associated growth on long-haul routes. We will continue to strive to be one of the best European airlines," emphasizes Mr. Shortino.
