Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained in Munich after passing customs control at the airport.
The reason for the detention was his expensive watch, Bild reports.
Schwarzenegger arrived in Munich on January 17, from where he planned to fly to Kitzbühel, Austria, for the World Climate Summit.
However, he was detained at customs because of a watch made by the Swiss company Audemars Piguet. The 76-year-old actor said he planned to sell it at auction.
Schwarzenegger spent at least several hours in the police station.
The watch, which may cost €20,000, was custom-made for Schwarzenegger. Audemars Piguet produces only about 45,000 such watches a year. The company's annual sales are about €2 billion.
