Air Arabia airline will launch direct flights from Sharjah to Athens
Air Arabia, the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, plans to launch direct flights to Greece this summer, confirming its plans to expand its presence in the European market.
The first flight is scheduled for June. The company will connect Athens with Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the third most populous city in the Persian Gulf Kingdom. This was reported by in.gr.
The new flight will be operated four times a week as the company seeks to serve both business and leisure travelers.
Adel Abdullah Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, emphasized the attractiveness of Sharjah, known for its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and broad business opportunities.

Earlier, TravelWise reported that Akasa Air is launching its first international flights to Doha, the capital of Qatar.
