A sitting solution to a small problem: where in the world do most men sit down to urinate?

An unexpected ranking has revealed data on which countries in the world men sit down the most to relieve themselves.
The first place in the ranking is occupied by Germany. Forty per cent of Germans say they sit down to urinate every time, and another 22 per cent do so "most of the time". Only 10 per cent say they never do it, the Dailymail reports.
The authors of the ranking say that a study was conducted in 13 countries on men's preferences for ways to deal with a small need.
It is noted that in Germany, it is not uncommon to see signs in public toilets urging men to sit down to urinate. But ironically, the nation has a mildly derogatory name for men who do this - "sitzpinkler". This translates into English as a person who likes to sit down to pee, but is also, according to YouGov, used to "imply that a man is weak or effeminate".
The survey findings show that British men are among those least likely to sit down for this activity, with 33 per cent saying they "never" do it, similar to those in Poland.

When it comes to places where men "always" sit down to urinate, Australia is next after Germany with 25 per cent of men, followed by Sweden with 22 per cent, according to YouGov.
In the United States, 23 per cent of men always or often sit down to relieve themselves, compared to 31 per cent who never do.
Canadian men, on the other hand, are more likely to sit down frequently, at 35 per cent, while 21 per cent said they always stand to pee.
